MK Diamond MK-101 Pro Series 2 HP, 10 inch Wet Cutting Tile Saw. The MK-101 Pro saw sports a heavy-duty 2 horse power, 120 volt Baldor electric motor. Blade capacity is 10 inches; depth of cut 3-3/4 inches (96 millimeter). I purchased the MK-101 while working on a large scale remodeling project for our church, rather than renting and returning a tile saw repeatedly to complete the job. The performance and design of the MK-101 turned out to be first class. Whether cutting ceramic wall or floor tiles, as well as pieces of granite, the MK-101 sliced through them effortlessly, and with a high degree of accuracy. The attachements for cutting angles and bevel cuts also worked very well, and proved to be quite useful for inside and outside corner cuts. When not cutting through tiles, the motor runs quietly compared to other saws we had rented, and I found the water tray under the saw is easily removed for clean-up. I have done a number of other smaller tiling jobs since purchasing this unit, and the blade seems to cut as well as it did when I first used it. I would recommend you purchase a tile saw base to set this unit on - its a bit heavy and make-shift bases made from things like saw-horses are a bother to set up and drag around. If you are a serious home remodeler or a professional, this is an excellent product and is reasonably priced when compared to other comparable units I have seen.
